The 3rd Crafts Festival will take place in Pont-de-Montvert (48), a delightful village situated in the valley near the source of the Tarn, in the heart of the Cevennes National Park.

On 15th, 16th and 17th July 2011, the inhabitants of the village who are fully involved in the event, will open the doors of their garages, storerooms and other rooms in their houses to more than 70 European designers: ceramists, cutlery specialists, fashion designers, metalwork specialists, wrought-iron craftsmen, painters, potters, sculptors, etc.
This event will not only allow artists and craftsmen to exhibit and sell their work, but also to show their craft by giving demonstrations in the village streets.

The patron of this 3rd edition will be the expert Roland DARASPE. His skill, his experience, his technical imagination, his knowledge of metalwork, his work with silver leaf used in the creation of exceptional works of art (www.daraspe.com) have won him the Art Master title in 2002. Roland DARASPE has held exhibitions in prestigious places, like the Bordeaux Museum of Decorative Arts, where 150 of his pieces were shown in 2008.
In his honor, the theme chosen for this third edition is the silver leaf.
The artists present will make it a point of honor to show one or several pieces using this symbol.
