Lake Salagou is a freshwater inland sea situated in the heart of the upper Languedoc area, in the commune of Clermont l'Hérault.

The shore, lined with basalt peaks covered with red shale, together with the iridescent reflection from the water, make it one of the most strangely beautiful lakes in France.
ou will discover a rich and varied fauna and flora with colours changing according to the seasons. The magnificent Mont de Liausson with its steep slopes covered in oak trees is very imposing: 530 metres high.

There are great leisure facilities here. The Lake is a lively resort with beaches, campsites, inns... and a wide range of outdoor activities, water sports and fishing...
